Watercolor Workshop: Heurich House, Frühlingsfest
I was thrilled to be asked back to Heurich House to participate in their annual Frühlingsfest. It was a blustery day, but other than the wind, the weather was beautiful and we had a decent turn out. At Frühlingfest, which was held in their historic garden, there were several vendors set up for hands-on activities. I had the watercolor station, there was Lily Cox of of Rewild DC making flower crowns, and Cody of Urban Jungle DC, who held a succulent planting workshop.

The photos below were taken by Alex Fraioli, marketing director of Heurich House:

I had a blast introducing (or re-introducing) these guests to the simplicity and zen of watercolor. Here are some of the examples I created for the workshop:

If you're interested in learning how to paint with watercolor (and you're local to DC, VA, or MD) please feel free to reach out for workshop rates! I love sharing this beautiful medium with anyone who wants to learn.
