I was fortunate enough to be invited to participate in last year's Wes Anderson tribute art show "Bad Dads VII" with Spoke Art gallery. So, of course, I was thrilled to be asked back to exhibit in this year's "In Dreams."
This year's April show is a tribute to the prolific director, screenwriter, producer, painter, musician, and photographer, David Lynch. In preparation for the show, I dove into "Twin Peaks," a surreal crime dramedy with a cult following. Man, it's weird! But strangely addicting. The first two seasons are on Netflix. Although the series was originally made in 1991, there will be another 18 episodes coming out this year! I'm so curious to see what happens!
Here's a link to the Vlog I made about creating my "In Dreams" piece:
The group show opened this last weekend in Spoke Art's NYC gallery (with a line out the door, I'm told!), and today, the whole collection went online. I love seeing my name "in lights" so to speak ;-)
